Annoying Traffic Light

Seriously , if you thought I was only going to write about technology then I think it was too much to ask for. I would agree with the thought that I personally will dwell more into writing about technology weather it be hands on or management , it would come straight onto the blog.

Well there is a thing I noticed lately about a annoying traffic light near Richmond rail Station. Ok, its a junction and one has to respect that , however the junction opens into a round about controlled by traffic lights again. Well the pain is due to the fact that cars coming from the by lane are in a better of situation as the traffic light on that end remains on for longer period of time while as this annoying one doesnt, as it just stays on for I believe couple of seconds and the worst scenario is that the left hand lane is a bus lane and as usual dominated by the buses, well who says buses are in control.

Anyway, just a food for thought, if you are planning to drive through that area in rush hours please do bear in mind that there is this traffic light just before the roundabout which opens into kew and other adjacent roads, will take its toll on you and you will be stranded in the right hand lane for approximately 20-30 minutes before you hit the roundabout that too if your luck is by your side.

Oh I would also like to add here that just before the station there is a zebra crossing which really stops you from driving across as people start walking from both directions and all you do is wait till they cross. Well here you go another reason to avoid the area on a busy day at rush hour.

Anyway, thanks for reading , appreciate it !

Samsung Galaxy Tablet !!

Half the size and weight of an iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab is a tablet device with a 7 inch TFT LCD display that runs Andriod 2.2 (OS - Android 2.2 running Touch Wiz 3.0) will surely make its mark in the IT gadget industry.

The promotional videos reveal fantastic functional features offered by Samsung in this handheld device. Although many of these features i.e. Navigation, e-reading, internet browsing, working with documents etc are not new to users of such handheld devices, however certain features such as seamless Video Conferencing and the very cool Augmented Reality offered in Samsung Galaxy Tab will surely make some noise in the gadget industry.

Ofcourse time will decide whether Samsung will outrun the dominance of Apple as the company believes it will sell 10 million such Android powered tables by this time next year; however whatever will happen, the device is surely an eye catcher. Vodafone plans to distribute the Galaxy Tab in the UK in October.

Does iPhone4 requires a duct tape to sort its reception ! !

With Apple launching iPhone 4 and everyone thinking about how great it looks and how great the functionality will be it all boils down to the fact that the phone has a design fault in it as mentioned by many users.

Yes you read it correct, users of iphone 4 have complained about a design fault in the iphone due to which it loses network reception and the calls are dropped. Although Apple has returned with a statement that its not design but a software glich there are people who are really getting worried about their purchase.

Although no one expects this from an Apple products knowing for a fact that these pieces of technology are very robust.. well hopefully they are.. local techy people recommends a few things to sort out the issue with reception.

The most in-expensive and perhaps the most convenient solution for getting better reception for your iPhone 4 is using a small piece of duct tape even though it doesnt look that great after the solution has been applied.

You can read more about it on CNN , click here.

Well hopefully apple with come out with a solution as they recommend this is not due to a design fault but is related to software. Lets see if apple can crack this one out.
